She enjoys working with people with aging issues, people with neurological conditions and others who can benefit from improving their posture, balance and gait. She works with people in chronic pain, and those in recovery from sports injuries, surgeries, and auto accidents. She has been successful working with people with low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, shoulder injuries, hip replacements, and knee surgeries and injuries. She enjoys sharing the benefits of the Feldenkrais Method® with those who are dedicated to improving their skills and performance in any endeavor.
Tancha has been teaching Awareness Through Movement® classes for 16 years. She taught at Kaiser Permanente Shadelands for many years as well as Studio One in Oakland and various other locations. She has been teaching at Heather Farms in Walnut Creek since 1995 and has offered many workshops around the East Bay over the years. She has also been guest teacher at Cal State Hayward Dance Department.
In her private life Tancha is a wife, daughter, sister and very active aunt. She loves to play ice hockey and has been on several traveling womens teams. She works out regularly, has studied exercise and nutrition for years and is passionate about maintaining health and well-being not only for herself, but for others as well. She retired from recreational white water kayaking as an expert and still sometimes dreams of river trips and the outdoors.
